
The built-in video elements only provide limited control over how browsers load and play video assets, often resulting in stalling and buffering. Web developers for browsers like Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome have added video playback functionality, allowing other programmers to incorporate videos into web pages the same way they can with images. HTML5, however, refers to the most recent version of HTML that supports audio and video tags (you’ll recognize and ).
